A Night Owl's Hobby

Working in the IT industry means having to work the dreaded night shifts every now and then. I prepare by adjusting to 'night owl' hours; this often means busying myself with card-making in the wee hours of the morning  :)

I used the scrapbook kit pack [containing paper, flocked punchout add-ons, and stickers] from the Studio HG (Heidi Grace Designs) Orchard collection to create the following 9 cards. I love love love the colour palette: cream, peach and green --- Perfect for Spring cards!

Techniques: embossing, faux-stitching, 3D foam mounting

Tools: scissors, paper trimmer, scallop-edge punch, tag punch, scallop-circle punch, corner punch, glue-dots, adhesive tape runner. wood-mounted rubber stamps

Materials: card stock, tinted embossing stamp pad, embossing powder in "pearl", white & gold gel pen, cream ribbons, chipboard die-cut shapes, stickers, embellishments, 3D foam dimensionals, vellum, buttons
